Ukrainian women highlight the need for empathetic integration and discover the challenges they face in establishing businesses in their new home country. How can children’s integration into a new socio-cultural environment be improved? How can language learning be facilitated or can ethnic heritage be introduced through gastronomic experiences? These are some examples of the business solutions developed by the winners of the “BSI_4Women" business development and incubation program, implemented by Tech-Park Kaunas. The program lasted four months and was designed for Ukrainian women who fled to Lithuania due to the war. 

Tech-Park Kaunas, one of the largest startup communities, will host a "Demo Day" this Friday. The event is the finale of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region BSI_4Women Business Development and Incubation Program. Ukrainian women who have participated in the business development program will present their ideas and solutions to an audience of business experts and community members.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) Business Acceleration Services has officially launched an open call powered by the EIC ACCESS+ initiative. The call offers up to 60 000 Eur in grants, covering up to 50% of the costs, to access specialised services from the EIC Service Catalogue for deep-tech startups and SMEs that have received EIC Awards or the prestigious Seal of Excellence under the Horizon Europe program. Companies can use the funds to access vital resources to accelerate their growth and scale their innovations.
