Tech-Park Kaunas is a science and technology park that creates the best experience for startups. We help startups and growing tech companies increase their international competitiveness, consult on business development issues, provide innovation support services, develop an innovation community, and foster an innovation culture in the Kaunas region.
As a member of Integrated Science, Studies and Business Centre (Valley) “Santaka”, Tech-Park Kaunas stimulates collaboration between science and business. The Park organises a business acceleration programme for health technology developers, Medaccelerator.lt. The program helps startups to develop innovative products and services, increase sales and prepare to attract investment. The team has also created a program for entrepreneurship and new product development called Evolut 4.0.
In 2025–2026, the Tech-Park Kaunas Accelerator program package continues to be strengthened and expanded – startups participate in digitech and medtech solution hackathons “Tech_Champ”, pre-acceleration programmes, and business incubation activities. The Park also organises thematic hackathons and innovation events, including the defence and dual-use technologies hackathon “Ugninis Skydas”, implemented together with the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union.
At present, Tech-Park Kaunas hosts more than 80 companies focused on deep-tech development, operating in fields such as IT, engineering, health technologies, smart city solutions, green technologies, and space technologies. The ICT cluster “Digital Rocket LT” brings together more than 40 companies, with over 150 professionals delivering advanced ICT services to local and international clients.
Since 2019, Tech-Park Kaunas has been a member of the CERN Business Incubation Centre in Lithuania and supports the development and application of innovative ideas outside the field of high-energy physics.
Since 2021, Tech-Park Kaunas also has been a partner of the European Space Agency Business Incubator in Lithuania (ESA BIC Lithuania) and supports the development of innovative products in the space sector.
Since 2025, the Park has officially joined EBN (European Business and Innovation Centre Network) and also in collaboration with international partners, has become a member of the newly established the Organisation for Defence Innovation in the Nordics (ODIN).
Tech-Park Kaunas contributes to the promotion of innovative technologies for defence by participating in the NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic Region (DIANA) program as an Associated Test Centre. Tech-Park Kaunas is taking a bold step forward by focusing on dual-use and defence technologies, evolving into a strategic innovation hub where civil solutions gain new relevance in the defence sector.
The Park is also involved in the development of the defence and security innovation creation, testing, and certification centre “Vytis”. This is a nationally significant infrastructure project initiated and coordinated by Tech-Park Kaunas together with the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation and partners. The centre will enable the development, testing, and certification of defence and dual-use technologies, contributing to faster deployment of innovations and strengthening Lithuania’s and NATO’s defence innovation ecosystem.
