Future school for present generation
Kaunas STP together with Kaunas Simonas Daukantas progimnasium had arranged the conference on innovative learning methodologies “The School of Future”. Education expert and consultant Renata Dudzinskienė introduced the usefulness of mind-maps and problem-based-learning in communication process with Gen Z. Involving nowadays technologies it is more attractive to gain knowledge and educate children as it fosters learning processes.
Participants of the conference were introduced to the international project “Enable” which seeks to indicate the main causes of early school leaving. In addition, the case of Simonas Daukantas Progimnasium was presented by the teacher Alma Rimkevičė who uses technologies for a better interactive communication between students and teachers.
The conference was partly funded by Erasmus+ project No. 2016-1-IT02-KA201-024610 “Enable”.
