K.A.V.A. 2018 awards: 3 of the winners - Kaunas STP innovation community members

June 12 was the day when 9 companies that create the highest value for Kaunas city were awarded in Kaunas Growing Business Awards. Kaunas City Municipality, together with Kaunas STP, Kaunas Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Crafts and other partners, evaluated the most advanced companies and called for the strengthening of the business community in Kaunas.

"Kaunas Startup", "Innovation 2018" and "Designed in Kaunas City" were the nominations where companies of the Kaunas Science and Technology Park won the prizes. The MB Fidens won the "Kaunas Startup" award nomination, Innovation 2018 award was given to UAB Rubedo Systems. The company UAB Vittamed, which was awarded for "Designed in Kaunas City", has been rewarded as a company which has created product for NASA. Mantas Venslauskas, the head of Fidens, said he had become more aware of the results and had determined that such awards are useful when the media gives them the opportunity to boast their merits.
