Internet of Things (IoT) is widely considered as the next step towards of the digital society, where objects and people are interconnected and interact through communication networks. IoT not only has a huge social impact, but can also support the employability and boost the competitiveness of European companies. It is widely considered as one of the most important key drivers for the implementation of the so-called Industry 4.0 and for the digital transformation of the companies. Relevant impact of this technology is expected in a wide range of sectors.
Project coordinator: UNINETTUNO, Italy Partners: Kaunas Science and Technology Park, Lithuania Project activities (achievements): October 24 – 25, 2016 – kick-off meeting in Italy (Rome); December, 2016 – project website was lounched: http://www.iot4smes.eu/en/iot4smes.aspx; March, 2016 – implementation of needs analysis in order to find out learning needs of target group; April 4 – 5, 2017 – 2nd partnership meeting in Spain (Madrid). EQF Proffesional qualifications in a frame of IOT4SMEs project and learning topics have been discussed. Currently learning materials are being developed.
