The emergence of new social and environmental concerns has led to a new approach to rural areas, with a view to safeguarding the environment and balancing ecosystems, preserving natural resources, and promoting traditional, high-quality, and profitable products. These products are still made according to original manufacturing processes and help to recover, conserve and value historical, cultural, and natural heritage and to revive rural communities and territories. Keeping sustainable traditions in a rural environment is a common EU countries challenge. The goal of the SUSTRADER is to strengthen sustainable traditions for entrepreneurs in a rural environment, by learning from each other. The project SUSTRADER aims to: - Analyse and strengthen rural ecosystem skills and competences. - Define, exchange, and adapt new international sustainable tradition preservation tools and good practices. - Intensify collaboration between business support organizations and educational institutions.
